Mobility, with advance agreement

Here you can submit an application for recognition of your achievements during a mobility program .

Recognition is only granted upon application and never automatically.

If you hold a signed recognition agreement, and you wish to apply for recognition as agreed, the application for recognition does not need to be signed by an examiner or module coordinator, but only needs to be completed and signed by yourself.

The application can only be submitted after the coursework has been completed, i.e. usually after your return to KIT. Recognition must be applied for no later than one year after returning from abroad.

Procedure of the recognition process:

The application can be submitted by e-mail to the Examination Board. To do this, please send us the completed and signed application for recognition, the transcript of records from the foreign university and the recognition agreement signed by the examiner or module supervisor before recognition from your KIT e-mail address.

Special cases:

  • If recognition is to take place in a specialization outside of the schedule in case B or case C, a specialization plan is also required, which must be signed by the person responsible for the specialization.
  • In the case of unscheduled recognition in case B in the compulsory elective module Business/ Law or Natural Sciences/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering (Master's degree program MACH only), an application for admission to an unscheduled examination is required, which must be signed by the module supervisor.
  • In the case of unscheduled recognition in case B and in case C in the elective module Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree program MACH only), an application for admission to an unscheduled examination is required, which can be completed in full and sent to the PA without the signature of the module supervisor.

After examination by the PA, the examination office of the faculty (campus) or the student service will enter the achievement in the student file and inform the student by e-mail.
