Mobility, without advance agreement

You can submit an application to the MACH/ MEI Examination Board for recognition of your achievements during a mobility program abroad. If you already hold an advance recognition agreement, please follow this link: Recognition from mobility, with advance recognition agreement 

If you do not hold an advance recognition agreement, or would like to have your achievement recognized differently than agreed, please read on.

Procedure of the recognition process:

The application can be submitted by e-mail to the Examination Board. To do this, please send us the completed and signed application for recognition, and the transcript of records from the foreign university from your KIT e-mail address.

Special cases:

• If recognition is to take place in a specialization outside of the schedule in case B or case C, a specialization plan is also required, which must be signed by the person responsible for the specialization.
• In the case of unscheduled recognition in case B in the compulsory elective module Business/ Law or Natural Sciences/ Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering (Master's degree program MACH only), an application for admission to an unscheduled examination is required, which must be signed by the module supervisor.
• In the case of unscheduled recognition in case B and in case C in the elective module Mechanical Engineering (Master's degree program MACH only), an application for admission to an unscheduled examination is required, which can be completed in full and sent to the PA without the signature of the module supervisor.

After examination by the PA, the examination office of the faculty (campus) or the student service will enter the recognition in the student file and inform the student by e-mail.
