The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers an English-taught B.Sc. degree program in an international setting. This program has been designed specifically for international students who do not speak German, yet want to pursue engineering studies at a leading German Technical University. Upon successful completion of the 3-year program, students are awarded a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree by KIT. The program Mechanical Engineering (International) is carried out in cooperation with the Carl Benz School of Engineering. The Carl Benz School has a college-like structure and provides students from all over the world with the opportunity of small class sizes, on-campus housing, a study and career guidance program and cooperations with key players of the German industry.
