Entrance examination

For admission to the Master's programme, minimum knowledge and minimum performance (regulated in the admission statutes) must be proven. If these cannot be proven, there is the alternative possibility to prove the required skills by passing an entrance examination.

• After reviewing the application, the admission committee decides who may participate in the entrance examination. Therefore, it is recommended to submit the application documents as soon as possible.

• The exam can be taken in German or English.

• Entrance exams are usually held in mid-March (summer semester application) and mid-September (winter semester application).

• For applications for the winter semester 2025/26, the exam will be conducted digitally as an open-book exam. The specific exam modalities will be communicated via an invitation to the exam. Please pay attention to the exam location.
