Entrance examination

For admission to the master's program, minimum knowledge and minimum performance (regulated in the admission regulations) must be demonstrated.
If these cannot be proven, there is the alternative option of proving the required skills by passing an entrance examination.

• After reviewing the application, the admissions committee decides who is allowed to take the entrance examination.
  It is therefore advisable to submit the application documents in good time.
• The examinations can be taken in German or English.
• The entrance examinations , entrance tests take place on site in pool rooms at KIT.
  The exams take place digitally as open-book written exams on the learning platform ILIAS, detailed information on the exam will be announced by invitation to the exam.
• Examination dates are usually at the beginning of March (application for the summer term, summer semester) and at the beginning of September (application for the winter term, winter semester).
